Sanará was birthed on the idyllic shores of Tulum, Mexico in 2014. The hotel received global recognition, both from guests and media, and was listed as third in the Top 150 Greatest Hotels in the World by Harper’s Bazaar, amongst other accolades. Sanará, meaning ‘it will heal’, offered the opportunity to support the relationship with ourselves and by doing so, deepen our care for our world, holding space for deep introspection and physical healing.
Globally-minded food.
The Real Coconut was birthed within Sanará, and later opened in Tulum town and Malibu, California, offering nutrient-dense, gluten, grain and dairy-free food, while also championing globally abundant but undervalued low-impact crops.
The kitchens closed in 2023. Daniella continues to host occasional pop-ups and events featuring the recipes.

Originally launched as Real Coconut, a range of grain, gluten and dairy-free products based on Daniella’s recipes from the kitchen. Distributed across the United States and Canada, featuring coconut and cassava flour tortillas and chips, burritos and cookies.
